Join hundreds of bicyclists for a spectacular ride on Lenexa streets at night with your friends and family at our 19th annual event.
Now called the Lenexa Moonlight Bike Ride, this family-friendly event starts at 10 p.m. near Old Town Lenexa and includes a return of the popular route through the Meritex caves. Check back later this spring for more details including entry fees and bike ride route.
Before the ride, participate in a fun new "light the night" competition. Get creative and decorate yourself and your bike to win great prizes! Judging at 9:30pm.

Join hundreds of cyclists on the night of Saturday, July 12, 2014 for the 19th annual Lenexa Moonlight Bike Ride. Enjoy a fun filled evening riding on Lenexa streets. Ride starts at 10 p.m. The Lenexa Moonlight Bike Ride is a family-oriented bicycle ride and is excellent for cyclists of all ages.
Following the ride, stay for the optional all-you-can-eat Chris Cakes pancakes. Pancake feed is an additional $6 payable in advance or at the door.
Parking and Directions
Ride start/finish and parking located near Old Town Lenexa at Pflumm & Santa Fe Trail Drive. Enter from Pflumm off 95th Street (just west of I-35). Follow signs to event parking. The ride will start on Santa Fe Trail Drive just west of Pflumm and the Old Town shops. Roads will closed near the starting area.
All riders must wear a helmet and bikes must have a working front light and rear reflector. No helmet, No light, No reflector, NO RIDE! Any bike or rider decorations worn during the ride must not impede the ability to ride safely.
Packet Pick-up and Onsite Registration:
July 11, 2014: 12-6 p.m. at Lenexa Community Center
July 12, 2014: 7:30-9:30 p.m. just west of the Old Town Shops (Pflumm & Santa Fe Trail Drive)
