Rides the streets! Hike the trail!

We'll ride the streets of Lenexa starting at midnight.
This year's ride route starts and ends at Black Hoof Park,
9053 Monticello Road, Lenexa, KS.

 

Before the ride, cyclists can enjoy an optional moonlight walk along the trail to the award-winning Lake Lenexa dam spillway.

Saturday, July 13, 2013
Join hundreds of cyclists on the night of Saturday, July 13, 2013 for the 18th annual Lenexa Midnight Bike & Hike. Enjoy a fun filled evening riding on Lenexa streets. Ride starts at midnight. The Lenexa Midnight Bike Ride is a family-oriented bicycle ride and is excellent for cyclists of all ages.

Pancake Feed
Following the ride, stay for the optional all-you-can-eat Chris Cakes pancakes. Pancake feed is an additional $6 payable in advance or at the door.

Parking and Directions
Ride start/finish and parking is located at Black Hoof Park, 9053 Monticello Road. Enter from 83rd Street (87th Street Parkway from I-435), go south onto Monticello Rd to start/finish area. Roads will be closed for ride preparation via direction from the south to start location.

For the bike ride, bring a helmet, front light, rear reflector or light (required to ride).

Packet Pick-up and Onsite Registration:
July 12, 2013: 12-6 p.m. at Lenexa Community Center
July 13, 2013: 9:30-11:30 p.m. at Black Hoof Park

What time do I need to arrive?
Check In/Registration is 9:30 p.m. If you plan to participate in the hiking portion of the event, allow time for bike check and registration.
Bike Check is 10 p.m. - 11:45 p.m.
Bike and Hike Event: Midnight - 2:30 a.m.
Hike- 9:30 p.m. start, conclude by 11:30 p.m.
Bike Ride starts at Midnight.  Riders release in groups; no late starts after last departure.
